Every resident deserves to feel safe — at home, in their neighborhood, and across the city. I will advocate for a stronger, more visible police presence, enhanced training, and modern tools to support our officers in their work. But true safety requires prevention. That means investing in partnerships that address root causes of crime, including addiction, homelessness, and mental health challenges. By strengthening programs like The Watch and PACT and ensuring open collaboration between police and community services, we can create safer streets and stronger public trust.
The rising cost of living in Lethbridge is putting pressure on families and homeowners. We need bold but practical solutions to improve housing access and affordability. I will champion the rezoning of underused public land for affordable and family-oriented housing projects. At the same time, I support a municipal homeowner tax relief program aimed at easing the burden for middle-income residents. Smart growth means ensuring Lethbridge remains a city where families can afford to stay, grow, and thrive.
Lethbridge needs to position itself as a hub for opportunity. I will lead efforts to elevate Lethbridge Airport (YQL) to international status, unlocking potential for business development, tourism, and connectivity. I will also advocate for cutting unnecessary red tape and modernizing city processes to support entrepreneurs, local job creators, and investors. From trades and agriculture to tourism and innovation, I’ll work to grow a diverse economy that supports long-term prosperity across every sector.
Leadership begins with listening. I’m committed to being a councillor who shows up, listens first, and leads with humility. I’ll support multicultural initiatives, nonprofit organizations, faith-based efforts, and civic programming that strengthen unity and pride in our city. I will be accessible to residents and ensure that every neighborhood — from downtown to the westside — feels heard and represented. Public service is a responsibility I take seriously, and I will always put the needs of our community first.
